This Privacy Policy describes the personal information that is collected from you when you use the GiftCards application (the "App") or the GiftCards website at www.giftcardsapp.com (the "Site"), and how that information is collected, used, and disclosed by us: Trillusion Media, Inc.

Information and Collection

We receive and may store any information you enter on the App or make available to us in other ways. For example, we collect information you provide when you place an order or send us an email. This information may include your name, address, telephone number, email address, credit card or other account numbers, demographic information, such as date of birth, gender, geographic area, and your preferences. It may also include information you provide about other people, for example the name and address of a gift recipient.

When you use our App, some information is automatically collected, such as your phone's unique identification number and the time and date of your visit.

Our Site allows you to submit your name and email address to us.

Use of Information

In general, we use the information you provide to enhance your experience using the App and the Site and to provide you with high quality products and services. For example, we use certain information to process and track your purchases and other transactions via the App, maintain a record of our dealings with you, respond to your inquiries, update you on our products and services (and develop new products and services), remind you of important occasions for those you care about, and to otherwise personalize the App for you. We may also use your email address to notify you of special offers.

If you choose to submit your name and email address to us through the Site, we may use that information to contact you regarding the App, the Site, or our services.

Disclosure of Information

We contract with third-party vendors to help us provide services and process transactions with you. For example, we may host some of our databases on another company's computers and utilize their services in hosting portions of our App, hire a company to answer customer questions, send information about our products and other services, complete orders or collect payment for us, or hire a company to help us market our products and services. We collect aggregate information regarding the use of our App that does not contain any personally identifiable information, and provide this information to merchants whose gift cards and certificates we resell, to potential merchants, and to GiftCertificates.com.

We disclose personal information when we believe it is appropriate to comply with the law (e.g., a lawful subpoena, warrant or court order); to enforce or apply this Privacy Policy or our other policies or agreements; to initiate, render, bill, and collect for amounts owed to us; to protect our or our customers' rights, property or safety; to protect our customers from fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful use of our App or the Site; or if we reasonably believe that an emergency involving immediate danger of death or serious physical injury to any person requires disclosure of communications or justifies disclosure of records without delay or as otherwise permitted by law.

Information about our App or Site users may be disclosed as part of any merger, acquisition, debt financing or sale of all or part of company assets, as well as in the event of an insolvency, bankruptcy or receivership in which personally identifiable information could be transferred to third parties as one of our business assets.

Security

We are committed to taking reasonable steps to ensure the security of your information. In an effort to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of information while it is under our control, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect via the App and the Site.

Your credit card security is our highest priority. We utilize Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption, an advanced encryption technology that protects the information you send us against unauthorized access.

Children

We encourage parents to take an active interest in their children's use of the Internet and mobile applications. We have no intention of collecting, and will not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are under 13, you should not provide information on our App or on our Site. If a child has provided us with personally identifiable information, we ask that a parent or guardian contact us and we will delete the information about the child from our files.

The App and our Site contain links to other Web sites. Links from our App or our Site to such other sites or content, are provided for your convenience only, and we do not have control over the content or privacy and security practices and policies of such third parties or other sites. We obtain certain tracking information from linked sites of our merchant partners or affiliates to track traffic to our App, but such information is not linked to any personal information about you. Please note that any personal information you provide on linked pages is provided directly to that third party and is subject to that third party's privacy policy. We encourage you to learn about their privacy and security practices and policies before providing them with personal information.

Emails

If you provide us with your email address through the App or the Site, you may receive emails from us. If you do not want to receive marketing or promotional emails from us, send your request to us or follow the "Unsubscribe" instructions contained in the communication from us.

California Privacy Rights

California residents may request certain information not be disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes. To make such a request, please contact us at the information listed on the Site.

Your Consent/Policy Changes

By using this App, you consent to our use of your personal information as specified above. We reserve the right to modify our Privacy Policy at any time. If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on this Site, so you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it.
